Key
Information Systems Wins IBM Beacon Award
Achievement in "Excellence in Partnering"
for IBM Technology

Key Information Systems today announced it has
won one of 12 IBM Beacon Awards. Key Information Systems' achievement
was recognized in the category of "Excellence in Partnering."
The IBM Beacon Awards recognize IBM Software Business Partners
who have excelled in providing quality e-business solutions and
services to customers based on IBM, Lotus and/or Tivoli technologies.
Winners were announced at an IBM Beacon Awards gala reception
at PartnerWorld 2002 in San Francisco, CA.
Key Information Systems received the award for teaming up with
IBM Business Partners, Emerging Technology Solutions and Tech
Frameworks Inc. to provide Gundlach Bundschu Winery with a solution
to manage its 3,000+ wine club members. The solution implemented
allows Bundschu a shared environment for members, use membership
data for outbound marketing to drive tasting room sales, and provide
a members-only portal for ordering wine without having to call,
fax or mail. Bundschu anticipates the payback on the initial investment
will be less than three months and estimated ROI will be 195 percent
in the first year alone.
"Great things happen when you combine a team that is wholeheartedly
focused on client service with the world-class technology from
IBM," said Pete Elliot of Key Information Systems. "This
recognition builds on our momentum as a leading provider of Wine
Club Advantage and validates our commitment to both our customers
and our teaming with IBM."
Mark
Hanny, vice president, Worldwide SMB & Channel Software Marketing,
IBM, stated, "IBM is pleased to recognize Key Information
Systems with a Beacon Award, highlighting its commitment and innovation
using IBM products and services. It erves as a demonstration of
the superior e-business solutions provided to customers."
