Woodland Hills, CA – January 11, 2008 – Key Information Systems, a leading technology firm in the western United States, will exhibit network security products and services which they offer in conjunction with IBM ISS Division at the Los Angeles Tech-Security Conference in Warner Center in Woodland Hills, California, on January 30th of this year.

The Los Angeles Tech-Security Conference brings together private industry, government decision makers and technical enthusiasts in the fields of Information & Network Security. Key will host an Interactive, high intensity training session on Data Loss Prevention by William Irace, Security Solutions Architect for IBM’s Global Technology Services. The presentation covers how IBM is approaching security threats in a holistic manner. The IBM presentation also introduced a new Data Protection Model to guard against data loss that employs roadblocks, password protected ZIP files, visible monitoring, just-in-time education, full disk encryption, network forensics and network appliances. The focus is on creating a security framework that permits building and maintaining a successful network security strategy.

Sandy Nannini, security specialist at Key and members of the IBM ISS technical staff will be on hand to discuss IBM ISS’ network security solutions and to answer questions about IBM Internet Security Solutions products and managed security services offerings to implement a variety of network security solutions in different environments.

Visitors to Key’s booth will have an opportunity to receive white papers authored by Key and IBM on internet security.

Key’s has a web page called IT Solution Center that contains useful information about protecting IT data resources. It is on their website at: http://www.keyinfo.com/products_solutions/solutions/security.shtml

Nannini said “No single kind of security protection is enough to prevent IT threats that exist today. Multiple kinds of threats require multiple layers of protection. Many of our clients will be anxious to see how they can harden their layers of security with solutions delivered through IBM ISS managed service offerings and Key’s hardware architecture and security expertise.”
