Key Information Systems is co-sponsoring its February Webinar, Carol Woodbury on iSeries Security and Compliance, with SkyView Partners, a group of IBM iSeries security experts. During this Web-based seminar, Carol Woodbury of SkyView Partners will show how to assess security and compliance risks and how to put proper controls in place for a robust security implementation. Attendees will learn how to decide whether to fix security and compliance exposures now, accept the risk, or plan for later remediation. Those attending will also learn how to proactively prepare for compliance with HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, GBLA, SB-1386, Visa CISP and other regulations.

While working at IBM's Rochester Labs, Carol served over 10 years as the AS/400 Security Architect and Chief Engineering Manager of Security Technology for IBM’s Enterprise Server Group. She is known worldwide as an author and speaker on security technology, specializing in AS/400 and iSeries security issues. Carol is also a subject matter expert on security for COMMON.

Topics to be covered in this Key Webinar include:

Pete Elliot, Director of Marketing for Key, will describe Key’s client experience with Risk Assessor, a security tool that helps to understand iSeries security exposure and the best remediation strategies. Pete will show how proper risk assessment and risk management can generate needed documentation for auditors to satisfy compliance issues that are required by the wide variety of today’s regulations affecting the organization’s IT functions. Jason Rubenstein of Life Care will describe their experience with Risk Assessor.
