From Pete's Desk Pete Elliot,
Director of Marketing, reviews 2006 for Keys organization. 2006 is shaping up to be a great year for Key. Our client base has grown by over 30 percent and for 2006 we expect stong growth to result in revenues exceeding $65 million for the year. The year got off to a roaring start for Key and its clients when in February Key joined other major U.S. corporations as a sponsor for the PGAs Nissan Open Golf Classic at the Rivera Country Club in West Los Angeles. In March, Key opened a new Field Office in Orange County, CA, to strengthen support for a growing client base in this vibrant section of the Greater Los Angeles Area. The Orange County office opening was followed in April by the opening of Keys new Headquarters Office in the Warner Center located in Woodland Hills, CA, featuring large conference facilities and meeting rooms for our clients. The expanded HQ facility is equipped with our new Business Partner Innovation Center used by clients to configure, test and stage new server, storage and communications solutions. Keys awards for the year have included IBMs Fast Track for Growth award placing Key in the top one percent of IBM Business Partners in 2005. In June, Key moved from #365 to #300 on the VARBusiness 500 annual ranking of computer resellers. Then in October, Key was awarded the prestigious Best of the West award from AVNET and IBM for outstanding performance in the western U.S. The award, a sculpture expressing the spirit of the West, is on display in Key's HQ lobby. October also saw the launch of Key's extensive IT Needs Survey targeting the concerns of IT organizations in the western U.S. Results of this study, designed to obtain a better understanding of the marketplace, will be available in early 2007. In November, both the Los Angeles Business Journal and the San Fernando Valley Business Journal placed Key on their lists of the top 100 "Fastest Growing Private Companies." But as good as 2006 was, our commitment is to make 2007 an even better year for serving the IT needs of our clients. With your help we can make this goal a reality. Success to all! Pete Elliot
