The company maintains a Solutions Architecture Team and a Professional Services Team that, working in concert with the company’s Chief Technology Officer, deliver highly architected IT projects on time and on budget following the company's Pre and Post Implementation Delivery MethodologyThe mission of the Solutions Architecture Team at Key Info is to bring significant technical resources to bear on fundamental design and performance areas of IT that will make a difference to our clients. Who we are and how we carry out our mission are described in this section.

Given the critical importance of the role of the Solutions Architecture Team, it reports directly to the President/CEO and works closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and other major departments in the company. Julie Gutierrez-Farley, Director, Solutions Architecture, heads up the department consisting of Solutions Architects with deep experience and subject matter expertise in their functional areas.

The Department serves Key Info clients in a number of unique ways:

Proven Methodologies – Unique proven pre- and post-implementation methodologies developed over years of working with clients in joint implementation efforts that ensure high client satisfaction.

Qualifications/Certifications – Architects bring years of relevant experience and certifications on a wide variety of platforms. Many of the architects were end users themselves and have a unique perspective because they have day-to-day IT operations experience and can translate their experience into comprehensive solution recommendations. Their perspectives and insights bring confidence, credibility, concrete options and recommendations.

Meet the Architects Open House – The department opens its offices up to clients for an evening once a quarter to encourage face-to-face client contact. This event also includes a technology update and an opportunity for clients to meet subject matter experts to collaborate and discuss emerging technologies.

Education – Leadership is provided for client workshops, luncheons, webinars and classes on critical emerging technologies. Best practices are shared including solution or client trainings/meetings for remote and virtual teams.

Publication – Technical content contributed to Key INsights, our monthly client letter on CIO issues, industry articles, and technical white papers.

CIO Retreat – Major participant at the company’s annual CIO conference.

On-site Skills Transfer Provided by certified engineers.

Knowledge Base – Sharing best practices and intellectual property.

Expertise for Trade Shows – Lending industry involvement/knowledge at the company’s show booths.

Hands-on demos/testing in our Business Partner Innovation Center (BPIC) and outlying labs: Covering virtualization, systems and storage.

Sponsor executive briefing center visits – With IBM and other vendor partners.

Architects’ Hotline – Provide rapid answers to critical technical questions through the company’s Hot Line that operates afterhours (5pm to 8am). Document hotline answers to clients in Questions of the Month section of the company’s website.

Open Door Client Policy – This policy at Key Info states: The Solutions Architect Team's mission includes a commitment to maintain close two-way communications between Solutions Architects and those in key positions within our clients. Close communications is fostered through the Architects’ Hotline, regular visits to clients and an open collaborative approach that places the client and their technical needs first.
