Scott Youngs has been in IT since 1984, he worked at North Carolina State University Chemical Engineering Department, Bechtel, Northern Telecom, Exxon and J.D. Power and Associates. Prior to joining KeyInfo, as Director of Operations at ISWest, he designed and oversaw the building of their newest data center facility in Agoura Hills, CA.
As the CIO, Scott is responsible for co-creating the Data Center Services offerings. Initially, he is responsible for locating an appropriate site and building the new data center from the ground up, and then maintaining the data center. He is also responsible for the renegotiation of KeyInfo’s Irvine office lease and redesign of that office space. Scott is on the team to create and implement the new colocation, managed services, and cloud offerings that Key requires to successfully enter the Managed Service Provider space. He also leads the SSAE 16, PCI, SOC 1 and other certification efforts as a part of the KeyInfo™ MSP program.
Scott studied applied mathematics at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC. He lives in Camarillo with his wife, son and daughter, and enjoys soccer, golf, and movies in his spare time
